Guachipelin (American Diphysa) is found from Mexico to Panama in Central America. This guachipelin is from Costa Rica and was harvested and exported under government regulations. The wood has a vibrant range of colors from yellows to reds to browns. Epoxy resin has been used in the voids.

This is 68" x 15-20" x 3". 

The finish contains three coats of Tung oil with varnish; sanded after each coat. Tung oil brings out the unique characteristics of the wood.
